custom contact center applications using its expertise in C, SQL Server, and Visual
Basic.
Design & Development Methodology
ASA has developed a unique method for illustrating call flows
known as the ASA GAP Chart. The Gap Chart is a picture of the entire
application call flow, including menus, transfer points, host interactions and spoken
vocabulary distilled into one easy-to-read graphical format.
The GAP Chart replaces hundreds of pages of requirement and design documentation
and allows our customers to see and approve their application before coding begins.
The GAP Chart is widely acclaimed, and indispensable to ASA and its clients.
ASA’s coding methodology centers on modular application development. We develop
our applications in modules or blocks, isolating the complexity of the application
into its component parts. Developing in this manner allows us to assign multiple
resources to projects to reduce the timeline, produces clean
code, and facilitates testing and troubleshooting. ASA also utilizes
reusable objects in its development so that we do not have to redevelop similar
functionality from scratch for each new project. This allows us to provide better
quality applications at a reduced cost to our customers.
ASA Solutions Project Office
The processes in place at ASA Solutions ensure the success of
every project. Collectively, ASA’s Project Office brings over 20 years of
IVR project management, design, and development expertise to clients.
The Project Office manages IVR projects from inception to delivery and beyond. ASA
